NIL/mba Live is a comprehensive, executive level, live course built from my NIL class at the University of Vermont’s business school (the first in the country), NIL Workshops, and Student-Athlete Insights’ proprietary research. It’s for coaches, administrators, brands, and professional service providers - or anyone else committed to learning, adapting, or capitalizing on NIL.

Wednesdays, 7:00pm-8:30pm ET, beginning May 15 through June 19, 2024. Five sessions in total with no session on May 22.

what you will learn
Each week, we will cover a new module, focused on the following topics critical to being successful in NIL. Sessions will be a combination of my presentation and class discussion.
Regulations: NCAA guidelines, state laws, school policies, and federal legislation
Student-Athletes: The primary NIL activities, including social media, appearances, athlete brands, instruction, endorsements, and group licensing
Colleges & Universities: Education, support of student-athletes, and future issues (Title IX, revenue sharing, employee status)
The NIL Marketplace: Exploring NIL’s revenue sources
Collectives: Understanding the mission and operations of Collectives
