What It Is

NIL for Coaches is offered as either a 40-minute live virtual workshop ($1,000 per institution) or digital course ($500 per institution.) It fulfills the NCAA’s coach education requirement, effective August 1, 2025.

Built specifically for coaches, this training helps them better support their student-athletes in the NIL era. It’s designed to save your staff time, ensure quality, and provide coaches with a certificate of completion to meet NCAA attestation requirements.

 

The NCAA Requirement

According to the NCAA DI Membership Attestation Requirements, effective August 1, 2025, active member institutions must provide annual education to all coaching staff members on topics listed in Bylaw 16.3.1.2.

This includes NIL (in addition to areas such as mental health, strength and conditioning, nutrition, financial literacy, transfer requirements, career preparation, and campus sexual violence prevention.)

Institutions are required to attest to this education by November 6, 2026.
