What It Is

NIL for Coaches: 2025/2026 Certification is offered as either a 30-minute live virtual workshop ($225 per institution) or digital course ($125 per institution.) It fulfills the NCAA’s new coach education requirement, effective August 1, 2025.

The NCAA Requirement

According to the NCAA DI Membership Attestation Requirements, effective August 1, 2025, active member institutions must provide annual education to all coaching staff members on topics listed in Bylaw 16.3.1.2.

This includes NIL (in addition to areas such as mental health, strength and conditioning, nutrition, financial literacy, transfer requirements, career preparation, and campus sexual violence prevention.)

Institutions are required to attest to this education by November 6, 2026.
